At Boot Camp Moms, we are all about people setting goals and
working hard to achieve them.
We love to celebrate every
milestone and accomplishment. However, sometimes we
get to focused on them and miss so many milestones and
moments along the way. Think back to the first time
you worked out with us. How did that first workout feel? Did
you feel like the whole class knew everything that
they were doing except you? Or did you feel like you were
going to fall over if you had to run one more step?
For Kyle
and I, that is how it was for us! The very first Boot Camp
Class we ever took together, we ran out of the room after 15
minutes, and let's just say one of us got sick.
Look at you now. How do you feel during class now? Now a
lot of you are doing push ups on your feet, running faster
than we have ever seen, stopped drinking soda, changed how
you are eating, have increased your hand weights, have lost 10,
15, 20 and even 60 pounds or more. SAVOR that moment!
One of my favorite quotes from a movie is
"Life is not about
how many breaths you take it is about moments that take
your breath away."
Live in that moment and celebrate it!
Think about how we are with our kids, when we send them
to kindergarden, we do not expect them to earn a Harvard Degree right? As parents we are thrilled
when they learn how to write their name. Apply the same
rules to yourself, be just as excited and soak in the glory
of that moment. Everyday Kyle and I witness all of you
hitting milestone after milestone and it is amazing and
powerful to watch. For all of our Boot Camp Moms we
will continue to always love and celebrate
every moment with you! Think about all the moments you had
this week. Tell a friend, tell your family, tell us, as we
always say you all are FABULOUS now go celebrate
yourself!
